What it actually helps with
The requirement nobody can weigh
A licence you legally cannot work without and a 'degree preferred' line are not the same obstacle. Most advice treats them identically, which is how people both waste evenings and abandon applications they would have won.
The 'not sure' answer
Every question offers Not sure, and it routes to Investigate rather than being forced into a guess. Telling someone what to go and check is a better answer than a confident wrong one.
A decision, not encouragement
Three outcomes: Apply, Investigate, Probably Skip. No percentage match, no interview probability, no score. Those numbers cannot be known from five answers and inventing them is the failure this tool argues against.
How the decision works
The logic is deterministic and ordered, not a score. An unmet requirement that is genuinely absolute ends the decision immediately. An unresolved maybe outranks everything else, because there is no point weighing evidence until you know whether the door is locked. Only then does evidence for the core work decide the outcome.
- Missing a preferred credential alone never produces Skip. Preferred lines are the most commonly ignored part of a posting.
- Being slightly short on years alone never produces Skip. A year count is a proxy for capability, and it loses to the capability itself.
- Several essential gaps at once compound rather than add, and that is when the answer turns negative.

data-source="your-site"- Optional. Lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. Tags the referral so you can be credited. Anything else is ignored.
Both attributes go on the div, for example <div data-rolesprint-should-i-apply data-theme="dark"></div>. You can place more than one widget on a page; each sizes itself independently.
What your visitor sees after
The result card ends with one link to RoleSprint’s Job Fit Analyzer, which opens in a new tab so nobody is taken off your page. Everything else stays inside the widget.
Troubleshooting
- Nothing appears
- Check that the <div> and the <script> are both present, and that your CMS has not stripped the script tag. Some page builders remove scripts from rich-text fields; use an HTML or embed block instead.
- The widget is very tall or has its own scrollbar
- The frame reports its height to the page as content changes. If your CSS forces a fixed height on iframes, remove it for this one and let the widget size itself.
- It looks wrong against my background
- Set data-theme="light" or data-theme="dark" explicitly instead of leaving it on auto.
- My site has a strict Content-Security-Policy
- Allow https://rolesprint.io in frame-src and script-src. If the frame is blocked, the widget degrades to a plain link rather than leaving an empty box.
Privacy
The widget runs the decision locally in the visitor’s browser. RoleSprint does not need their answers to return a result, and never receives them. There is no account, no email gate, and no API call behind the recommendation.
- No answers are stored or transmitted. Reloading the page clears everything.
- No analytics or advertising cookies are set for your visitors. The embed loads none of RoleSprint’s site analytics.
- We do not read your page’s URL, its query string, or the referrer. If you want your site identified in our referral numbers, you opt in explicitly with
data-source.

Free to use, no attribution contract, no link requirement. The widget carries a small “Powered by RoleSprint” line, and that is the whole arrangement.
What it cannot do
It answers the general shape of a situation from five answers. It has not read the posting and has not read the reader’s history, so it cannot tell them whether the specific missing item is the one this specific employer screens on first. That is the honest boundary, and the widget says so on its result card rather than in a footnote.
It is also not a probability. There is no percentage match and no interview likelihood, because neither can be derived from what it is given.
