Privacy Policy

Depending on how you use RoleSprint, we may collect the following:

• Your email address, when you create an account or contact us
• Resume or CV data that you upload
• Job descriptions or job URLs that you paste for analysis
• Target role preferences and the standards you set
• Application assets generated for you, such as resumes, recruiter notes, and cover letters
• Job Tracker and application status data that you save
• Basic analytics and product usage data
• Payment and billing metadata, handled through a third-party payment provider

We use the data above to provide and improve the product. That includes:

• Analyzing a role against your resume and standards to produce a fit score and verdict
• Generating tailored application materials at your request
• Saving your analyzed roles and their status to your Job Tracker
• Maintaining your account and responding to support requests
• Understanding how the product is used so we can make it better

We do not sell your personal data.

Resume and job-search data is sensitive. We treat the resume you upload as your reference profile and use it to evaluate the roles you choose to analyze. We do not fabricate experience, and generated materials are grounded in the information you provide.

Documents that RoleSprint generates for you, such as tailored resumes, recruiter notes, and cover letters, are created for your use. You are responsible for reviewing them before you send or submit them. Our Terms cover this in more detail.

Billing is handled by a third-party payment provider. That provider processes your payment details under its own terms and privacy practices. RoleSprint does not store your full payment card numbers. We keep only limited billing metadata needed to manage your subscription.

We may use basic analytics and product usage data to understand how features perform and to guide improvements. Where we use third-party analytics tools, we aim to limit the data shared to what is needed for that purpose.

RoleSprint uses PostHog for product analytics. To understand product usability and diagnose problems, we may also use privacy-masked session recordings of signed-in product sessions. These recordings are configured so that input values and private career content, such as resumes, job descriptions, generated documents, and contact lookups, are intended to be masked or excluded, so a recording shows how the product is used rather than what you typed or uploaded.

User identifiers such as your account ID, email address, and name may be used to associate product activity with your authenticated account. Recordings are not used to make employment decisions, and RoleSprint does not intentionally record payment card details. We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the product. You can request deletion of your account data, and we will remove it within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain limited records for legal or operational reasons.
