About this role
Accountabilities: • Demand generation strategy: Own top-of-funnel demand generation and pipeline coverage end to end, developing the strategy and tactics needed to build a scalable pipeline engine.
• Channel experimentation: Identify, test, and evaluate new marketing channels and tactics to diversify pipeline sources and uncover opportunities for growth.
• Campaign execution: Plan and run events, email marketing initiatives, social campaigns, and other demand-generation programs designed to generate qualified pipeline.
• Sales partnership: Work closely with Sales to align campaigns with pipeline targets, incorporate feedback from the field, and ensure marketing activity supports revenue objectives.
• Product marketing collaboration: Partner with Product Marketing on product-focused campaigns and joint strategies, translating positioning and messaging into pipeline-generating activity.
• Performance optimization: Continuously monitor and improve campaign performance using CAC, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and other relevant growth metrics.
• Cross-functional collaboration: Work across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Engineering while adapting priorities and approaches as the business evolves.
• AI-native experimentation: Explore AI tools and emerging approaches to improve marketing workflows, campaign execution, experimentation, and overall team efficiency.
Requirements
• Experience: 6+ years of experience in demand generation or growth marketing, with a demonstrated history of owning pipeline targets and delivering measurable results.
• Channel expertise: Hands-on experience across paid marketing, events, and content, with the ability to build and manage campaigns across multiple acquisition channels.
• SaaS and technology background: Experience in technology or SaaS environments, ideally within startup or mid-market settings where resources may be limited and priorities can evolve quickly.
• Commercial orientation: Strong understanding of pipeline generation, conversion optimization, customer acquisition costs, and the relationship between marketing activity and revenue outcomes.
• Ownership mindset: Comfortable independently identifying problems, developing approaches, testing ideas, and taking responsibility for outcomes rather than waiting for detailed direction.
• Analytical approach: Ability to use performance data and experimentation to make informed decisions and continuously improve marketing effectiveness.
• Adaptability: Comfortable operating in an environment with ambiguity, shifting priorities, and broad responsibilities.
• Communication and collaboration: Strong ability to partner with Sales and cross-functional teams and translate marketing strategy into coordinated execution.
• Preferred experience: Experience managing paid campaigns through Google and LinkedIn, hosting webinars, working in user research or adjacent research/product tooling, or operating in a Series A/B startup environment is a plus.
• AI curiosity: Interest in how AI is changing marketing workflows and a willingness to experiment with AI-enabled ways of working.
