About this role

Accountabilities: • Develop, test, deploy, and enhance Microsoft Power Platform solutions supporting federal programs and business operations.

• Build and customize Model-Driven Apps using Microsoft Dataverse based on approved requirements and solution designs.

• Configure Dataverse tables, relationships, security roles, business rules, forms, views, business process flows, and data-quality controls.

• Develop and maintain secure external-facing experiences using Microsoft Power Pages.

• Create and maintain Power BI semantic models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations for executive and operational users.

• Build Power Automate cloud flows supporting submissions, document routing, notifications, approvals, compliance activities, and other business processes.

• Support integrations with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Azure services, REST APIs, and approved external systems.

• Follow application lifecycle management practices covering source control, solution packaging, environment variables, connection references, and deployment pipelines.

• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, architects, senior developers, and users to translate business needs into maintainable technical solutions.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, peer reviews, demonstrations, testing, and release activities.

• Troubleshoot defects, improve application and reporting performance, and provide production support while escalating complex issues appropriately.

• Create and maintain configuration documentation, technical procedures, release notes, and knowledge-transfer materials.

• Apply federal security, privacy, records-management, accessibility, and governance requirements throughout the solution lifecycle.

• Contribute reusable components, share technical knowledge, and support consistent Power Platform development practices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience developing or supporting Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

• At least 2 years of experience building Model-Driven Apps and configuring solutions using Microsoft Dataverse.

• Hands-on experience developing or supporting Microsoft Power Pages sites.

• At least 2 years of experience creating Power BI reports, dashboards, data models, or visualizations.

• Hands-on experience with Power Automate cloud flows and business process automation.

• Working knowledge of integrating Power Platform solutions with REST APIs, Microsoft 365 services, SharePoint Online, and external systems.

• Experience using solutions, environment variables, connection references, source control, and deployment processes within a team environment.

• Experience working in Agile delivery teams and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work effectively in regulated or process-driven environments; federal or public-sector experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps Model-Driven Apps, Power Pages, Power BI, and Power Automate.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Entra ID, role-based security, Power Platform ALM and governance, Git-based source control, and CI/CD practices.

• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript for client-side extensions.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, custom connectors, and integration troubleshooting.

• Microsoft Power Platform Developer Associate, Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Power Platform Fundamentals, Azure, Security+, Scrum, Agile, or SAFe certifications are desirable.

• Experience supporting federal civilian agencies or developing compliance, permitting, case-management, grants, contract-management, records-management, or submission-tracking solutions is preferred.

• Experience designing secure customer, vendor, or partner portals using Power Pages, including authentication, web roles, table permissions, Liquid, JavaScript, and portal security patterns, is advantageous.

• Experience with complex Dataverse security models, auditing, duplicate detection, data migration, and integrations is a plus.

• Experience with DAX, Power Query, row-level security, deployment pipelines, and Power BI performance optimization is desirable.

• Familiarity with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Application Insights, Microsoft federal cloud environments, GCC, or FedRAMP-aligned controls is advantageous.

• Foundational knowledge of Power Apps Code Apps and pro-code development workflows is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility, federal records-management expectations, and secure software development practices is preferred.

• Experience using C#/.NET for Dataverse plug-ins or custom integration services is a plus.

• Ability to meet applicable federal clearance requirements and background-investigation requirements where required.

• Salary range of $100,000–$125,000.
