About this role
Accountabilities: • Lead and provide day-to-day technical direction to software developers and engineers, supporting delivery and engineering excellence.
• Remain hands-on with C#/.NET development, software design, architecture, code reviews, and complex technical problem-solving.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams across multiple locations and time zones to deliver high-quality platform features and enhancements.
• Mentor and coach developers and senior engineers, helping strengthen technical capabilities and career progression.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, reliable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise SaaS standards.
• Contribute to engineering processes, development standards, CI/CD practices, and technical improvements as the U.S. engineering organization grows.
• Participate in architectural discussions and long-term system and technology decisions.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration across distributed teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Diagnose complex technical issues and lead resolution of challenging engineering problems.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative, high-performing engineering culture while balancing technical quality, delivery timelines, and business priorities.
• Support the organization's information security strategy by protecting sensitive data, managing technical risk, and adhering to established security measures and applicable regulations.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Lead Developer, Senior Software Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar senior engineering role in SaaS, enterprise software, or another complex technology environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET/.NET Core, and SQL/T-SQL.
• Solid knowledge of database design, performance optimization, and query tuning.
• Experience developing front-end functionality using HTML, JavaScript, and Razor.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps or equivalent cloud and CI/CD technologies.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and/or VS Code.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, scalability, security, and modern software development practices.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or developing engineers through technical expertise and influence.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly within geographically distributed and international teams.
• Ability to make sound technical decisions while balancing engineering quality, delivery requirements, and business priorities.
• Experience in automotive technology, enterprise SaaS, high-availability systems, or similarly complex environments is highly desirable.
• Experience helping establish, grow, or scale an engineering team or technical function is a plus.
• Experience with globally distributed engineering organizations, cloud-native development, large-scale SaaS platforms, and cross-functional collaboration is desirable.
