About this role
Accountabilities: • Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans aligned with business objectives and KPIs, using CRM systems, data analytics, and organizational tools to identify opportunities and improve sales effectiveness.
• Build and maintain relationships with C-suite and executive stakeholders across multiple sites, developing accounts into optimized sites of care that support appropriate and continued patient access to the treatment.
• Provide comprehensive account support covering product access, healthcare professional education, and application training for providers and staff to help enable appropriate use and patient outcomes.
• Establish long-term partnerships with key customers, staff, and national or regional key external experts, serving as a trusted advisor and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
• Expand influential networks across relevant specialties, including endocrinology, pain management, podiatry, neurology, and related fields, while developing alternative sites of care to address account needs.
• Identify and overcome account and territory obstacles with resilience, flexibility, sound prioritization, and a solutions-oriented approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Continuously develop clinical and market expertise in pain management, sharing relevant insights with peers and cross-functional partners to strengthen overall team effectiveness.
• Contribute to a culture of accountability, transparency, trust, and shared commitment to organizational and territory objectives.
• Maintain the highest standards of ethics, integrity, compliance, and professional conduct while ensuring all activities align with applicable regulations, policies, and industry standards.
Requirements:
• Bring at least 5 years of successful strategic key account management experience within pharmaceutical or medical sales.
• Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or possess an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Demonstrate a strong track record of delivering sales results through a patient-centric commercial approach.
• Have experience promoting specialty or buy-and-bill products across diverse sites of care, including clinics, infusion centers, hospitals, government facilities, or comparable healthcare settings.
• Experience in pain management, specialty pharmaceutical launches, or biologics is preferred, along with familiarity with buy-and-bill products, Specialty Pharmacy, and HUB services.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the needs and priorities of healthcare stakeholders, including key opinion leaders, payors, healthcare providers, and executive decision-makers.
• Possess excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation, analytical, and business-planning skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrate adaptability, curiosity, intrinsic motivation, and the ability to embrace changing circumstances and new approaches.
• Be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
• Be willing and able to travel throughout the assigned territory according to business needs and attend company-sponsored meetings, conferences, and events.
• Live and work within the assigned territory and maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Benefits:
• Base salary range of $160,000–$175,000 annually.
• Target incentive compensation of $55,000, subject to applicable plan requirements.
