About this role
Accountabilities: • Lead, mentor, and develop diverse software engineering teams across the Americas and EMEA, fostering innovation, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive the evolution of software delivery through agentic software development, Spec-Driven Development, AI Software Factory practices, and modern AI-assisted engineering tools.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership across EMEA and APAC to maintain alignment on technical vision, priorities, architecture, and delivery.
• Oversee the architecture, development, and deployment of platform and AI services supporting multiple products, with hands-on technical leadership across Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, agentic workflows, LLM and agent frameworks, AI/ML pipelines, and AWS services.
• Provide architectural and technical oversight through code reviews, architecture reviews, engineering standards, and technical mentorship.
• Ensure high-quality, timely software delivery through effective planning, prioritization, resource allocation, and project management.
• Partner with Product, Professional Services, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Work with product teams across global regions to align product strategy, engineering execution, and delivery priorities.
• Act as a senior technical point of contact for strategic customer relationships in the region, supporting customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
• Champion CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, AI-powered development, technical debt reduction, and foundational architecture improvements.
• Establish and use engineering metrics and insights to improve velocity, quality, prioritization, and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience, including at least 5 years in senior engineering leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading remote-first, multicultural engineering teams across multiple time zones and geographic regions.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, AI/ML pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM or agent frameworks such as LangGraph, AutoGen, or DSPy.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including Bedrock, ECS, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Familiarity with modern software development practices, including agentic SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps, and Developer Experience (DevEx).
• Strong understanding of APIs, including REST and SOAP, data modeling, systems integration, and scalable software architecture.
• Experience collaborating effectively with Product and engineering teams across multiple geographies.
• Experience in fintech, billing, reporting, or ERP systems is valuable; Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts and tradeoffs clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, budgets, resources, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational leadership skills.
