About this role
Accountabilities: You’ll take ownership of the commercial organization and revenue engine, combining strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in key accounts, pipeline management, forecasting, and organizational development.
• Lead and develop the global commercial organization across SDR/BDR, Account Executive, Partnerships, Customer Success, Performance Marketing, and Content Marketing functions.
• Define, own, and execute a written go-to-market strategy covering target markets, commercial positioning, and the coordination of sales, marketing, BDR/SDR, and customer success activities.
• Develop and manage sales strategies, pipeline performance, sales cycles, and enterprise SaaS distribution initiatives.
• Build capacity models connecting AE, BDR, and marketing resources to revenue targets.
• Deliver reliable quarterly and annual forecasts based on real performance data and measurable commercial indicators.
• Use sales analytics, pipeline data, meetings, and conversion metrics to guide commercial decisions and identify areas for improvement.
• Work directly with Account Executives and key accounts to address pipeline challenges, resolve issues, and improve deal execution when forecasts or performance fall short.
• Establish clear accountability across the organization while maintaining a fast, proactive operating cadence.
• Develop strong industry expertise across utilities, rail, telecommunications, infrastructure, and comparable enterprise markets.
• Represent the organization credibly in C-level customer conversations, industry events, and public-facing engagements.
• Identify and launch new commercial initiatives, including opportunities to incorporate AI at scale into the go-to-market engine.
• Own the commercial hiring strategy, recruiting processes, onboarding systems, and performance management practices required to build and retain a high-performing team.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines extensive B2B enterprise sales leadership with strong analytical capabilities, international team-building experience, and a proven ability to design and execute scalable go-to-market strategies.
• 10+ years of experience in B2B sales management.
• Strong experience selling enterprise SaaS solutions with add-on service offerings.
• Additional experience in B2B marketing and partnership-driven sales.
• Experience leading sales organizations that sell multiple products into heavy-industry markets simultaneously.
• Proven success building and scaling international sales, marketing, and customer success organizations.
• Strong analytical skills and experience establishing and using sales analytics frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute GTM strategies across sales, marketing, and BDR/SDR functions, with clear target-market and competitive-positioning decisions.
• Numbers-driven leadership style, including demonstrated forecasting accuracy and experience designing and operating capacity models.
• Ability to translate pipeline, meeting, and conversion data into clear, actionable business decisions.
• Hands-on approach to CRM management, key deals, pipeline development, and cross-functional issue resolution.
• Deep enterprise industry credibility in utilities, rail, telecommunications, infrastructure, or comparable markets.
• Strong executive communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with C-level customers and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated urgency, proactivity, and ability to make clear decisions in a fast-moving environment.
• Proven ability to build and retain high-performing commercial organizations through structured hiring, effective onboarding, and strong performance management.
