About this role
Accountabilities: The Business Intelligence Engineer will own analytics initiatives from data preparation through insight delivery, partnering across business and technology functions to improve decision-making and reporting capabilities.
• Develop and implement CRM analytics solutions that support key stakeholders and business processes.
• Use Salesforce CRM Analytics to extract, manipulate, analyze, and visualize data for decision-making.
• Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Salesforce Analytics and other BI platforms.
• Build predictive models and visualizations to identify areas of focus and opportunities for sales teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver customized analytics solutions.
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to customize Salesforce workflows, automation, and integrations.
• Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to maintain data accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze customer data, sales performance, and market trends to generate actionable insights.
• Support revenue operations initiatives and develop systems for understanding business development and client performance.
• Ensure appropriate data governance, compliance, and security practices within Salesforce and related environments.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for operational and business improvement.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support ad-hoc data requests and provide analytical expertise across business projects.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports in CRM Analytics, including Snowflake integrations.
• Stay current with developments in data analytics, visualization, CRM platforms, AI, and predictive analytics.
• Contribute to improvements in analytics processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
Requirements
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in business intelligence and Salesforce with analytical thinking, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex insights effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience with CRM Analytics, Salesforce, Agentforce, Data Cloud, or related Salesforce technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake, dbt, API integrations, and data management techniques.
• Experience in revenue operations, business development analytics, and client analysis.
• Strong SQL skills for querying, extracting, transforming, and analyzing data.
• Familiarity with AI and predictive analytics within CRM platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights and explain complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency with Salesforce Lightning, Salesforce Analytics, and data visualization tools.
• Experience with CRM Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms is preferred.
• Experience with Snowflake-based data warehouses is preferred.
• Familiarity with Slack, Slack Bots, Headless 360, SF Coworker, or similar tools is preferred.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, and related integrations is preferred.
• Knowledge of Python, R, or other data analysis and programming languages is a plus.
• Experience in wealth management or financial services is preferred.
• Familiarity with data governance and data security best practices is preferred.
• Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst, or Salesforce CRM Analytics & Einstein Discovery Consultant are a plus.
