About this role

Accountabilities • Coordinate the full 9–12-month franchisee integration and store build-out lifecycle, from design and construction through pre-opening and operational handoff.

• Partner with internal design teams to ensure store layouts and plans align with brand standards, project requirements, and applicable local regulations.

• Monitor construction progress, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with construction management vendors and other external partners.

• Coordinate procurement, delivery, and installation of fixtures, equipment, signage, and technology required for store openings and remodels.

• Manage franchisee onboarding schedules and coordinate deliverables across Sales, Training, Technology, Compliance, Operations, and other business functions.

• Act as a primary point of contact for franchisees, helping them navigate project requirements, timelines, dependencies, and issue resolution.

• Maintain comprehensive project trackers covering milestones, deadlines, ownership, status, risks, and deliverables.

• Maintain project documentation and version control, including design plans, contracts, training materials, schedules, reports, and other project artifacts.

• Prepare dashboards, status reports, and project updates for leadership and stakeholders.

• Lead recurring project meetings, milestone reviews, and stakeholder check-ins while communicating project health, risks, dependencies, and next steps.

• Identify and proactively manage risks such as permitting delays, resource constraints, scheduling conflicts, and other project issues.

• Escalate challenges appropriately and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams, franchisees, contractors, and vendors.

• Confirm required departmental approvals and readiness activities before center openings.

• Facilitate the transition from construction and build-out into Retail Operations, ensuring systems, training, staffing, inventory, and operational requirements are in place.

• Support grand-opening and re-opening planning and contribute to post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field is preferred.

• 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, construction coordination, project administration, franchise development, franchise operations, or multi-unit expansion projects.

• Knowledge of project coordination principles, workflows, documentation standards, and best practices.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.

• Experience coordinating schedules, meetings, project activities, milestones, and deliverables across cross-functional teams.

• Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with franchisees, vendors, contractors, internal teams, and leadership.

• Ability to track project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables and escalate issues when appropriate.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining project records and documentation.

• Ability to interpret construction plans, specifications, project requirements, and related documentation.

• Understanding of franchise or multi-unit development processes, including compliance requirements and brand standards.

• Basic knowledge of project budgeting, invoicing, and cost tracking.

• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Willingness and ability to travel regularly throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia to visit centers being built or remodeled.

• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or other individual authorized to work in the country.

• Base salary range of $68,172–$72,720 per year , with compensation determined by factors including geographic market, knowledge, skills, education, training, and experience.
