About this role
Accountabilities • Own and manage the squad backlog, ensuring features and user stories are prioritized, clearly defined, and available to the development team at the appropriate time.
• Define, document, and communicate business requirements, translating stakeholder needs into actionable product features and stories.
• Manage product scope and roadmap, balancing business priorities, delivery capacity, dependencies, and evolving requirements.
• Lead sprint planning and backlog refinement activities, ensuring the team maintains a clear and actionable delivery plan.
• Identify, assess, and manage product and delivery risks, taking appropriate action to mitigate potential impacts.
• Collaborate with internal and external customers and stakeholders to understand new demands, align expectations, and manage dependencies.
• Work closely with engineering and development teams to support effective delivery and resolve requirement-related questions.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies and ways of working across frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
• Monitor priorities and delivery progress while maintaining alignment between product objectives and business needs.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable product or management role.
• Experience managing product scope, roadmaps, sprint planning, and backlog refinement.
• Demonstrated experience writing business features, requirements, and user stories.
• Previous management or leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and/or XP.
• Strong familiarity with task and product management tools.
• Experience working with software engineering and development processes.
• Experience with risk management and the ability to anticipate and address delivery challenges.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Resilience and adaptability when managing changing priorities and complex stakeholder needs.
• Availability to work from São Paulo/Osasco once per week.
