Senior Contract Recruiter

Accountabilities: • Conduct approximately 30 or more candidate introductory calls each week while maintaining a high standard of candidate engagement and assessment.

• Introduce candidates to the organization’s culture, open positions, expectations, and interview process in a clear and compelling way.

• Assess candidates’ experience, communication abilities, motivations, and alignment with role requirements.

• Independently manage candidates throughout the recruiting funnel, from initial conversations through subsequent interview stages.

• Maintain accurate and organized candidate pipelines, including interview stages, notes, follow-ups, and relevant recruiting activity.

• Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements, align expectations, and ensure candidate profiles match business needs.

• Maintain consistent, timely communication with candidates and internal stakeholders throughout the recruiting process.

• Identify pipeline gaps, recruiting bottlenecks, or process challenges and proactively recommend practical solutions.

• Help create an efficient, organized, responsive, and positive candidate experience.

• Support a high-volume recruiting operation while balancing speed, quality, organization, and professionalism.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in talent acquisition, with specialization in technical or go-to-market recruiting.

• Previous recruiting experience in a fast-paced startup, technology, or similarly dynamic environment is preferred.

• Demonstrated experience managing a high volume of candidates and interviews simultaneously.

• Strong candidate pipeline management, prioritization, organizational, and follow-up skills.

• Proven ability to partner effectively with hiring managers, clarify requirements, and establish clear expectations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage candidates and stakeholders professionally and confidently.

• Strong candidate assessment skills and the ability to evaluate experience, communication, motivations, and role alignment.

• Ability to work independently, take ownership, make sound decisions, and move quickly in an evolving environment.

• Experience with Ashby or similar applicant tracking and recruiting systems is preferred.

• Comfortable working remotely while maintaining consistent communication and productivity.

• Availability to work Pacific Time hours is required.

• Strong attention to detail and a practical, solutions-oriented approach to recruiting challenges.
