About this role

Accountabilities • Support the technical architecture and evolution of the NetSuite ERP environment.

• Identify opportunities to automate business processes through scripted and custom solutions.

• Design, build, deploy, maintain, and improve SuiteScript 2.0, Map/Reduce, and other technical solutions.

• Perform technical design and code reviews to ensure solution effectiveness and coverage of business requirements.

• Collaborate with Financial Systems Analysts to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Enhance existing capabilities through the application of AI and emerging technologies.

• Balance multiple concurrent projects, changing priorities, and competing business requirements.

• Monitor ERP performance and establish alerting processes to identify and address potential issues.

• Partner with Enterprise Integration teams to maintain critical integrations between NetSuite and other enterprise platforms.

• Work with third-party hosting and accessory platforms where they support business and technical requirements.

• Execute NetSuite administration, maintenance, and other operational tasks as required.

• Support data extraction and querying from NetSuite through SuiteAnalytics Connect.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite development experience, including SuiteScript 2.0, SuiteFlow, and Map/Reduce.

• Working knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, SOAP, REST, XML, HTML, and JSON.

• General understanding of Finance and Accounting business processes and related technology best practices.

• Basic functional understanding of NetSuite modules and processes, including Multi-Subsidiary, Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Multi-Book Accounting.

• Experience with AI, SQL, database querying, and preferably SuiteAnalytics Connect.

• Ability and willingness to develop standalone or custom solutions that may extend beyond standard platform capabilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an interest in improving system functionality, reliability, and efficiency.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while adapting to changing business requirements.

• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with Finance, IT, Integration, and other cross-functional teams.

• A continuous-learning mindset and willingness to develop technical skills both within and outside the NetSuite ecosystem.

• NetSuite certifications, such as SuiteCloud Developer, are a plus.

• Experience with other programming languages or platforms outside NetSuite is desirable.

• Experience in a software or professional services organization is advantageous.

• Familiarity with integration mapping and ETL tools and methodologies, such as Dell Boomi or Stitch, is a plus.

• Knowledge of SOX audit processes, controls, evidence collection, and audit support is desirable.
