About this role
Accountabilities • Develop and evolve AEM Sites components, templates, Content Fragments, editable templates, and Core Components while enabling flexible content management for marketing teams.
• Build responsive, accessible, mobile-first interfaces from Figma designs, maintaining strong visual fidelity and cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize web performance and Core Web Vitals, including LCP, CLS, and INP, through techniques such as lazy loading, image optimization, critical CSS, and JavaScript reduction.
• Maintain and expand the squad's Design System and component library, encouraging reuse, consistency, and maintainability.
• Develop AEM backend integrations using Servlets, Sling Models, workflows, schedulers, and REST/JSON APIs.
• Implement and validate tagging and tracking solutions using technologies such as Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and dataLayer in collaboration with marketing and data teams.
• Support marketing campaigns and activations through rapid landing-page development, A/B testing, and content personalization.
• Participate in code reviews, Git-based version control, and CI/CD pipelines using Cloud Manager across development, staging, and production environments.
• Contribute to agile ceremonies including refinement, planning, and daily meetings while collaborating with Product, UX, Marketing, and engineering stakeholders.
• Translate business and marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions and take ownership of delivery from implementation through production.
Requirements
• Strong professional experience developing with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service and Cloud Manager .
• Hands-on experience building AEM components with HTL/Sightly, authoring dialogs using Granite/Coral UI, and Sling Models for exposing data to HTL.
• Strong understanding of the AEM Project Archetype and Maven-based project structure, including modules such as ui.config , core , and ui.frontend .
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid, SASS/LESS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Proven experience creating responsive, cross-browser interfaces with strong attention to design fidelity and user experience.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards such as WCAG and technical SEO best practices.
• Practical experience optimizing web performance and Core Web Vitals.
• Familiarity with at least one modern Front-End framework or library, such as React or Angular.
• Strong Git experience, including branching strategies and code-review workflows.
• Practical knowledge of Java in AEM environments, including OSGi, Sling, and JCR.
• Understanding of AEM author/publish architecture, Dispatcher, caching, and REST/JSON API consumption and development.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate marketing and business requirements into technical solutions.
• Autonomy, ownership, organization, and the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
• Collaborative approach and experience working closely with UX, Design, Marketing, and business teams.
• Adobe Certified Expert — AEM Sites Developer certification is a plus.
• Experience with AEM's integrated Front-End build process, Webpack, and client libraries is desirable.
• Exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud products such as Analytics, Target, Launch, Campaign, or Marketing Cloud is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AEM Headless, SPA Editor, or headless architecture is a plus.
• Experience with Web Components, TypeScript, or modern build tools such as Webpack is desirable.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Jest and JUnit, A/B testing, CRO, and content personalization is beneficial.
• Intermediate to advanced English for Adobe documentation and technical support is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or observability practices is advantageous.
