Sr. Analyst - BI, Reporting and Data Visualization

Accountabilities • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements, clarify reporting needs, and provide timely analytical support.

• Execute data quality control activities using SAS and Microsoft Access to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of business data.

• Analyze complex datasets and write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate relevant information.

• Validate, analyze, and interpret reports using Microsoft Excel and Power BI, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business expectations.

• Automate existing reports and recurring analytical processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance reporting consistency.

• Develop and maintain executive reports, interactive dashboards, presentations, and management information to communicate key findings effectively.

• Translate analytical results into clear, actionable insights that support business performance monitoring and informed decision-making.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Science, or Statistics, or a master’s degree in Data Science or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience or strong technical capability in business intelligence, reporting, dashboard development, data analysis, and data visualization.

• Proficiency in SAS analytics and SAS-based reporting, including data quality checks and analytical validation.

• Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write and analyze complex queries and work with structured datasets.

• Experience validating and analyzing reports in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, with an understanding of dashboard reporting and data presentation principles.

• Ability to automate recurring reports and improve existing reporting workflows.

• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into effective reporting solutions.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to explain data findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) to support effective client communication and collaboration.

• Relevant certifications in Power BI, data analytics, data management, SAS, Tableau, or related technologies are advantageous.
