About this role

Accountabilities: • Design, develop, and maintain core platform features across frontend and backend systems.

• Contribute to technical decisions involving architecture, scalability, performance, security, reliability, and data integrity.

• Collaborate with product, design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver intuitive, reliable, and high-quality user experiences.

• Build clean, reusable, maintainable, secure, and testable code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, standups, and other agile engineering activities.

• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across the application stack.

• Help optimize application performance and contribute to automation, usability, developer experience, and engineering workflow improvements.

• Support the development of scalable systems and platform capabilities for a global user base.

Requirements:

• 3–5 years of professional experience in full stack software development, preferably within SaaS or enterprise environments.

• Strong experience with modern JavaScript technologies, particularly React and TypeScript, along with backend development using Node.js or Python.

• Solid understanding of RESTful services, API design, relational databases, and modern software development practices.

• Demonstrated ability to develop scalable, maintainable, secure, and well-tested software.

• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments and agile, collaborative engineering teams.

• Comfortable working remotely in a distributed, async-first environment and able to manage responsibilities independently.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative approach to working across engineering, product, design, and QA.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with technologies such as Next.js, Express, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows is valuable.

• Nice-to-have experience includes HRIS, global payroll, workforce management, or other compliance-focused platforms; AWS; authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth and SSO; internationalization, role-based access control, or GDPR; and AI-enabled SaaS products.
