About this role
Accountabilities: • Triage incoming claims and ensure new claims are accurately set up on a daily basis.
• Complete timely claim setup for multiple insurers and branches across Canada while following established operational guidelines.
• Respond to inquiries from internal and external customers and coordinate with other departments to address client needs.
• Perform data integrity activities, including daily opened-claim reporting, SLA reviews, and catastrophe-related data checks.
• Operate RPA processes and collaborate with IT to ensure automated workflows and related system components are functioning properly.
• Participate in cross-training with the IMS team and contribute to knowledge sharing across the organization.
• Assist with training new hires and other internal customers on relevant processes and systems.
• Support miscellaneous operational projects and take on additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in an administrative, operational, or support role.
• Previous experience or exposure to the insurance industry is preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new software, databases, and technology-enabled processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a practical, creative approach to overcoming operational barriers.
• Demonstrated initiative, teamwork, adaptability, and willingness to learn in a changing environment.
• Ability to manage direction from multiple sources, balance competing priorities, and remain effective when priorities conflict.
