About this role

Accountabilities: • Design, develop, configure, and support Hardware Asset Management (HAM Pro) and Software Asset Management (SAM Pro) solutions.

• Optimize hardware and software asset lifecycle processes covering requests, fulfillment, deployment, reclamation, refresh, and retirement.

• Support software compliance, normalization, reclamation, SaaS optimization, and broader asset governance initiatives.

• Develop and maintain Service Catalog Items, Record Producers, approval workflows, and automated fulfillment processes.

• Build scalable automation using Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and native ServiceNow platform capabilities.

• Design, implement, and maintain integrations using REST APIs, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and data imports.

• Integrate ServiceNow with enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, endpoint management solutions, and asset repositories.

• Develop and maintain Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, Flows, and Scripted REST APIs.

• Troubleshoot platform, integration, and automation issues while conducting root cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutions.

• Support core ITSM processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, and Request Management.

• Maintain CMDB data quality, asset-to-CI relationships, and initiatives aligned with CSDM principles.

• Ensure all solutions follow ServiceNow development best practices, governance standards, maintainability principles, and technical documentation requirements.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.

• 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting IT Asset Management solutions.

• Strong practical expertise with HAM Pro, SAM Pro, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST API integrations.

• Extensive experience creating Catalog Items, Record Producers, approval processes, and automated fulfillment workflows.

• Advanced JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting capabilities.

• Strong experience with Import Sets, Transform Maps, Data Imports, and workflow automation.

• Solid understanding of ITSM processes and enterprise service delivery concepts.

• Working knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, CSDM, and asset-to-CI relationship management.

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification is required.

• Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is a plus.

• ITIL Foundation certification is advantageous.

• Experience with ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB health initiatives is a plus.

• Exposure to SaaS license optimization and software compliance programs is advantageous.

• Experience working within large enterprise ServiceNow environments is preferred.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.

• Ability to develop maintainable, scalable solutions while making effective use of out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities.
