Senior Content Analyst

Accountabilities: • Payer and provider mapping: Map payer/plan and HCP/provider records into governed hierarchies by reconciling inconsistent names, identifiers, relationships, and structures from multiple sources into standardized entities.

• Content research and validation: Conduct online and source-based research to validate and enrich records, including plan types, parent organizations, controllers, PBM relationships, and provider affiliations.

• Quality control and exception management: Assign confidence ratings, document mapping rationale, prepare outputs for senior validation, review junior-analyst mappings, and resolve complex exceptions.

• Data quality management: Validate, cleanse, profile, and enrich data while identifying quality issues, analyzing root causes, and recommending practical solutions.

• Data governance: Help define data quality standards and maintain data dictionaries, lineage, metadata, governance policies, procedures, and standards.

• Data integrity and reporting: Monitor data integrity across systems and applications and develop or maintain data-quality dashboards, scorecards, and reports.

• Cross-functional operations: Partner with Operations and adjacent teams to integrate data management and mapping processes into development and delivery workflows.

• Knowledge sharing: Train end users on data management and mapping best practices while mentoring peers and transferring knowledge across the team.

• Compliance and stakeholder collaboration: Support data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements, participate in governance initiatives, and collaborate with data stewards and global stakeholders.

• Product improvement: Gather feedback from internal users and external clients, translate their needs into actionable insights, and contribute to meaningful improvements in data products and processes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.

• Relevant experience: 3–5 years of experience in payer analytics, formulary or claims data management, content mapping, data governance, or a related discipline.

• Healthcare data expertise: Strong understanding of formulary data, patient claims data, and data-management concepts including data quality, metadata management, data lineage, and data governance.

• Mapping and technical skills: Familiarity with payer and HCP/provider mapping, content research, SQL, data modeling, and database management systems.

• Data management: Experience with master data management, data profiling, and analytical tools, with a combined 2+ years of experience working with United States healthcare data.

• Analytics and reporting: Advanced proficiency in Excel and Power BI for analysis, reporting, dashboarding, and data-quality monitoring.

• Compliance knowledge: Understanding of data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Preferred technical exposure: Experience with Reltio, Informatica, or other master data management platforms is valued, as is familiarity with Snowflake.

• Analytical judgment: Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to understand payer/provider structures and the rules governing complex hierarchies.

• Operational mindset: Ability to translate broad assignments into documented, actionable steps while actively identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.

• Communication and collaboration: Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data and mapping concepts clearly to diverse audiences and work effectively across teams and cultures.

• Leadership and judgment: Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, provide constructive feedback, manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and exercise sound judgment in a fast-paced environment.

• Work authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without employer sponsorship.
