About this role
ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a recruiting operations team that combines AI tools with hands-on support to connect startup candidates and hiring teams. As an Operations Associate, you will keep candidate introductions moving from shortlist through scheduled interview, working closely with the Salt Lake City sales team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Call and text candidates to confirm interest, schedule interviews, and help them prepare for initial conversations.
- Follow up with hiring managers to collect timely feedback on introduced candidates.
- Review candidate lists for role, location, salary, and prior candidate preferences before sharing them with clients.
- Keep candidate statuses, notes, and next steps accurate and current.
- Investigate recurring operational issues and implement fixes or propose improvements.
- Use AI tools and automation for repetitive tasks, while reviewing their output.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Demonstrated career progression through promotion, expanded responsibilities, or growing scope.
- Experience managing multiple concurrent tasks or open items without losing track of follow-ups.
- Experience making outbound calls to people who are unfamiliar with you.
- Experience using AI tools or automation to streamline repetitive work.
- A completed self-directed project or initiative, and evidence of working effectively through sustained high workload or competing priorities.
- Experience identifying and resolving a recurring operational problem.
- Recruiting, staffing, talent acquisition, candidate coordination, scheduling, or recruiting operations experience is relevant.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Base salary: $55,000 to $65,000 annually. Visa sponsorship policy was not provided.
LOCATION
Hybrid role based in Salt Lake City, Utah. The first two weeks include in-person onboarding in Salt Lake City.
