Is Teal legit?

Yes. Teal is a real, established product with a large free tier, public pricing and a working sign-up, and it is one of the better-known job-search tools for good reason. The question worth asking is not whether it works but what it is for: Teal is an organiser and a document builder. It helps you keep track of a search and produce tailored resumes faster. It does not tell you which of the roles in your tracker deserved the effort in the first place.

Teal vs RoleSprint: what is the difference?

Teal is a job tracker and resume builder with a genuinely useful free tier: you save roles, tailor a resume per role, and manage the pipeline in one place. RoleSprint does not track or organise anything — it judges whether a specific posting is worth your time against your actual resume, and builds the application only when the answer is yes. If your problem is that your search is disorganised, Teal solves that and RoleSprint does not. If your problem is that you are organised, applying steadily, and still not converting, an organiser will not tell you why.

We are quoting these because they are prominent, not because we have checked them, and a vendor’s own marketing figure is not the same thing as an independently established fact. We are not disputing them either — we are simply not in a position to confirm them.

Final verdict

If your search is chaotic, choose Teal — an organiser is the correct answer to disorganisation and RoleSprint is not trying to be one. If your search is orderly and the applications still are not landing, an organiser cannot diagnose that, and the useful change is which roles you enter. The two products are complements far more often than substitutes, and anyone telling you a tracker fixes a targeting problem is selling you a tracker.
