Overview: Help drives sales team productivity and profitability by managing key support functions. Oversees the commercial planning calendar to ensure pricing policy compliance, coordinates with teams in China and the USA on sales forecasting and product planning to achieve 100% on-time, in-full shipments, and manages account and item setups as well as PO shipments. Supports National Account Managers with internal sales processes and data analysis. Responsibilities: Manages the customer set up process and SKU creation. Works with inter-departmental team to ensure compliance to price list. Provides tracking, and compliance of price change activity for the retail division. Proactively identifies opportunities for process improvements by working closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement; assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies and facilitates a culture of continuous process improvement. Monitors the assigned sales organization’s compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data. Works closely with sales management to optimize the effectiveness of the company’s technology investments. Manages commercial retail planning calendar, including master calendar of customer requirements, and coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitors and maintains the highest levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts. Oversees MAP pricing and internet reseller compliance monitoring. Facilitates pricing strategy setting by monitoring competitive pricing by segment & customer type (retail vs. distribution, brick-and-mortar vs. e-commerce) and enables segment pricing strategy setting. Collects and tracks commercial planning input (e.g., planogram & trade show dates, account plans) and shares across the Consumer team. Runs weekly/monthly SAP reports to provide sales and internal teams with updated gross/net sales results versus forecasts. Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Follows company policies and practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or applicable employment agreement. Follows safety guidelines and procedures in accordance to the job. Performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology or related field. Minimum of 3 years of sales operations management experience, preferably with a consumer products manufacturing company. Requires solid experience with Netsuite, CRM, Excel, PowerPoint, Word. Must have strong problem-solving skills, taking a challenge and working with internal team and external vendors to resolve issue through completion within a given deadline. Must have broad cross-functional business knowledge, including an understanding of marketing, sales, product development, operations, and other functions present in consumer manufacturing companies. Experience with supply chain scorecard requirements of Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Bed Bath &Beyond, Kohl’s, Macy and Costco and fulfilling orders to 100% on time and in full (OTIF). Advanced understanding of the consumer products industry, the consumer buying process and purchasing mindset, as well as knowledge of the core elements of marketing to consumers. Must have highly developed analytical skills, including the ability to visualize, articulate, and present problems of varying complexity in ways that enable decision-making. Advanced communication skills with strong project leadership and organization capabilities needed to manage numerous priorities and break down segment silos. Actively supports and complies with Company’s objectives, guidelines and commitment to Quality, Safety and Profitability with an emphasis on continual improvement. Must be able to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels. Must have the ability to complete assignments within the timeframe specified by the Manager Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Emphasizes ethical leadership and decision-making to protect Company’s brand and reputation.
