About this role

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW: The Evergreen team (formerly known as Fenway Park Events) is committed to creating memories for guests who are here for unique, non-baseball experiences. We focus on both private and ticketed live events. Our team strives to be at the forefront of Boston’s hospitality and tourism industry by giving thoughtful, gracious service to ensure our clients vision comes to life and our guests enjoy unforgettable events in an iconic, distinctly Boston setting.

POSITION OVERVIEW: Evergreen is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fall Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in event sales, marketing, and operations at one of the world's most iconic venues. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, adaptable in a fast-paced environment, and passionate about hospitality, events, and client services. This position is paid at the hourly rate of $15.

RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support the sales and operations team on industry-related projects, including research and marketing initiatives.

• Assist Evergreen with contributing to social media content, updating project management documents, and supporting creative outreach.

• Provide on-site support for private and ticketed events throughout the Fall, including client-facing responsibilities.

• Contribute to budget preparation for 2026, assisting with data collection, organization, and review.

• Collaborate with team members on various event logistics, administrative tasks, and other general event duties as assigned.

• Research creative ideas and innovative solutions to event planning.

CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS: • Currently pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

• Willingness to support event setup and on-site tasks, including but not limited to the ability to lift 5+ pounds.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management tools and social media platforms a plus.

• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.

At the Boston Red Sox we go beyond embracing diversity. We’re committed to living by our values, strengthening our community, and creating a workplace where people genuinely feel like they belong.

Too often, job seekers don’t apply to positions because they don’t meet every qualification. If you love this role and are great at what you do, we encourage you to apply. Your unique skills and experiences might just be what we’ve been looking for.

Prospective employees will receive consideration without discrimination based on race, religious creed, color, sex, age, national origin, handicap, disability, military/veteran status, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or protected genetic information.

About this listing

Published on Lever under the board identifier Redsox, which is the name the employer’s own job board carries. RoleSprint has not verified the company’s registered or trading name, so it is shown exactly as published rather than tidied up.

RoleSprint is not the employer and not a recruiter. Applications are made on the employer’s own site and never reach us; what RoleSprint does is help you decide whether a role is worth your time and prepare for it if it is.
