PURVIS Systems has an immediate full-time open position for a Procurement Analyst/Technician who will be a member of the procurement team. The Procurement Analyst/Technician will support US Navy System material procurement and assembly.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include: • Interface with various government and contractor positions, along with vendors.

• Review of Government Furnished Information (GFI) and drawing packages to create and track procurement lists as required.

• Obtain necessary quotes and information regarding new items of supply, item characteristics, and procurement lead times.

• Receive, inspect, and stock products maintaining inventory management processes.

• Schedule shipments according to established schedules and their changes.

• Prepare products for shipment with necessary shipping documentation.

Qualifications: • A high school degree or GED certificate.

• 1 – 4 years general procurement experience, preferably in a government industry.

• Ability to analyze and define the program requirements and schedules.

• Proficiency with database, spreadsheets, and word processing computer skills.

• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Good time management skills.

• Cable build experience is a plus.

• Experience in assembly and wiring of units are a plus.

• Experience in mechanical kit assembly is a plus.

• General working knowledge of government supply systems, programs, policies, acronyms, nomenclatures is plus, but not required.

• Knowledge of existing submarine systems, Military Specifications, and previous defense industry is a plus, but not required.
