PURVIS Systems has an opening for a Field Service Technician. We are looking for an tech-minded individual to be responsible for providing technical maintenance and repair of computer systems, hardware and software. The Field Service Technician is part of a team that provides 24x7 operations and reports to various work sites throughout New York City in a specified timeframe.

The day-to-day responsibilities of this role include: • Installation, repair and maintenance of all aspects of video surveillance and access control systems and peripherals.

• Must be able to troubleshoot video surveillance and access control systems to the device level.

• Install and configure new software and/or hardware as required.

• Travel through the New York City boroughs to install, repair and maintain equipment at various locations.

• Must be able to use various hand tools and equipment for installation and repair such multimeter, drill etc.

• Must be able to run various types of cabling.

Qualifications: • Minimum of 2 years work-related experience.

• Must be familiar with all aspects of camerasdesktop .

• Knowledge of simple networking and network cabling; and operating systems (Windows 10/11, etc.).

• Valid drivers license.

• Able to use various hand tools and electronic test equipment.

• Some heaving lifting from time-to-time is required.

• Position requires climbing and using all types of ladders.

• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• No sponsorship is available.
