This role

PayJoy Lock is the core moat of PayJoy's business, a proprietary security stack running across the world's largest emerging market device fleet. The Senior Lock Operations Manager will be responsible for building and leading PayJoy's global Lock Operations function, turning ad hoc takedowns into a systematic, tooling driven, and technically integrated program that measurably reduces lock exploit losses. This role owns the global strategy and roadmap, governs the team's work across Fraud, Risk, Engineering, and Legal, and is the primary technical partner feeding ground and online intelligence back to those teams. The Senior Manager also builds and develops a team of two Specialists and one Analyst while staying hands on with the highest impact takedowns.

Key Responsabilities: • Own the global Lock Operations strategy and tool takedown roadmap.

• Govern and coordinate lock exploit work across Fraud, Risk, Engineering, and Legal.

• Quantify impact through field disruption and value at risk protected.

• Serve as the primary technical partner to Fraud, Risk, Engineering, and Legal on ground and online intelligence.

• Manage and develop the Tools Specialist, Takedown Specialist, and Analyst while staying hands on.

Qualifications: • 5+ years in fintech, consumer lending, or fraud and risk operations, ideally with exposure to more than one country or market.

• Hands-on experience using tooling, automation, or AI to scale an operation, for example scrapers, data pipelines, dashboards, or AI-assisted detection

• A track record of reducing fraud or exploit driven losses through operational change, not just analysis, and comfortable owning a return on investment case.

• Confident, credible stakeholder management: able to lead and drive conversations across risk, fraud, legal, and engineering teams, and comfortable pushing back when needed.

• Desirable: prior people management experience and Spanish or Portuguese fluency.

Benefits: • 100% Company-funded Health and dental and vision discount plan for employees and immediate family members.

• Life insurance.

• Phone finance, Headphone, home office equipment and wellness perks.

• 30 days of Christmas bonus.

• 20 days paid Vacation.

• 50% Vacation premium.

• 13% Saving funds.

• $2,000 MXN monthly grocery coupons.

• $2,000 USD annual Co-working Travel perk.

• $2,000 USD annual Professional Development perk.

RoleSprint is not the employer and not a recruiter. Applications are made on the employer’s own site and never reach us; what RoleSprint does is help you decide whether a role is worth your time and prepare for it if it is.
