About this role

The Field Marketing Manager, India will execute field marketing across India’s defense and government ecosystem. This role will drive account-based marketing programs, support strategic capture efforts, and contribute to measurable pipeline impact in close partnership with regional Sales, Business Development, and Capture teams.

This is a hands-on role in a high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable executing account strategies and field programs, thrives in complex government sales environments, and understands how to align marketing activities with long-cycle defense procurement processes.

The Field Marketing Manager, India will report to the Director of Field Marketing, Asia Pacific / Middle East.

What You'll Do • Execute field marketing programs across India’s defense, Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces, DRDO, and strategic aerospace accounts, aligned with regional Go-to-Market priorities.

• Support the development and execution of account-based marketing strategies for priority India-based government and defense accounts, helping map buying centers and coordinate multi-touch engagement across events, executive briefings, targeted campaigns, and customer programs.

• Develop a strong understanding of India’s defense procurement environment, acquisition cycles, and stakeholder landscape, using that knowledge to inform effective marketing programs.

• Execute major India-based defense and aerospace events, prioritizing high-value account engagement, customer meetings, and opportunity progression over brand presence alone.

• Plan and execute owned customer events, private briefings, roundtables, and targeted engagements in partnership with Sales and Capture teams.

• Partner closely with Sales and Business Development to align marketing programs with local account plans, pipeline targets, and strategic business priorities.

• Support ABM programs designed to generate new pipeline, deepen engagement within strategic accounts, and accelerate existing opportunities.

• Own Salesforce campaign execution, including creating and managing Campaign IDs, ensuring proper campaign structure, tracking member status, and maintaining data integrity in partnership with Sales.

• Partner with Sales to ensure accurate opportunity association, contact mapping, and required CRM field completion to support reliable pipeline reporting and attribution.

• Build and execute programs within Marketo, including campaign flows, audience segmentation, nurture programs, and performance reporting.

• Track and report field marketing performance against KPIs including account engagement, stakeholder engagement, campaign participation, opportunity influence, pipeline contribution, and deal acceleration.

• Manage event and program logistics, agencies, vendors, and other external partners to ensure high-quality and efficient execution.

• Bring structure, accountability, and operational rigor to field marketing execution within a fast-growing international aerospace and defense organization.

Required Qualifications • 5 to 8+ years of experience in field marketing, demand generation, integrated marketing, or related marketing roles, preferably with exposure to government, aerospace, or defense markets in India.

• Experience marketing into India-based government, defense, aerospace, or public sector organizations. Experience with Ministry of Defence, Armed Forces, DRDO, or related organizations is highly valuable.

• Understanding of India’s defense procurement processes, long-cycle acquisition environments, and complex multi-stakeholder account structures.

• Proven experience executing account-based marketing programs within complex enterprise, government, or strategic accounts.

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM, including campaign creation, Campaign ID management, opportunity alignment, reporting, and maintaining strong CRM hygiene.

• Hands-on experience with Marketo or a comparable marketing automation platform, including campaign execution, segmentation, nurture programs, and performance tracking.

• Experience executing trade shows, industry events, executive briefings, and owned customer programs, preferably within the India aerospace and defense market.

• Ability to engage professionally with senior military leaders, government stakeholders, defense industry executives, and technical audiences.

• Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple programs and priorities simultaneously.

• Strong cross-functional partnership skills with Sales, Business Development, Capture, and Global Marketing teams.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with evolving priorities and processes.

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with global teams. Proficiency in Hindi or other regional Indian languages is a plus.
