We are looking for an Data Engineer Engineer to join our team and work on high-impact projects for a major multinational beverage company based in Mexico πΆπ. In this role, you will build and govern scalable machine learning solutions, ensuring reliable, reusable, and auditable outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, turning complex business data into trustworthy, well-governed AI products. Attention to detail, strong data governance instincts, and a reuse-first mindset are essential to succeed in this fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities π€ β’ Co-develops batch and streaming pipelines, semantic models, and transformations on Databricks (Python/Spark).
β’ Defines and maintains data contracts, quality rules, and data SLOs for each data product.
β’ Guides domain teams on data modeling and data product boundaries (what belongs to which product/domain).
β’ Trains, mentors and pairs with domain engineers/analysts on data product ownership and good engineering practices.
β’ Captures feedback and best practices from domains and feeds improvements back into platform templates, tooling, and patterns.
Required Skills π» β’ Experience in Data Engineering, including building and optimizing data pipelines.
β’ Experience working with Databricks, Python, and Spark, building batch and streaming.
β’ Familiarity with a BI visualization tool like Looker or Tableau.
Nice to Have Skills π β’ Feature Store certification (Fundamentals / Expert) and experience with financial data.
β’ Experience developing AI agents / agentic infrastructure (e.g. Mosaic AI Agent Framework, agent orchestration, MCP).
