As a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) – Pelvic Health, you'll have the opportunity to provide specialized pelvic health and pediatric physical therapy services in a supportive, collaborative environment. Physical Therapist Qualifications & Responsibilities: Physical Therapist (PT) Responsibilities
• Perform comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide specialized pelvic health and pelvic floor physical therapy services for pediatric patients.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, posture, functional independence, and quality of life.
• Develop individualized home exercise programs and educate parents and caregivers to support continued progress outside of therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with physicians, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, family-centered care.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with professional and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Texas Physical Therapist license (or eligible to obtain prior to start date).
• Pediatric physical therapy experience required.
• Pediatric pelvic health or pelvic floor therapy experience preferred.
• One year of experience preferred; new graduates with relevant clinical training are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and clinical skills.
• Passion for helping children achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.
