About this role
The Director, Product Operations builds and runs the operating system for Lone Wolf's Product organization — the process, tooling, data, and communication that enable our Product leaders to focus on customer experiences and outcomes. This role reports to the SVP, Product & Strategy and partners with the leaders of our product lines, Engineering, Product Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success. This is a hands-on leadership role: the Director will do the work from day one and build the function over time. They will modernize how Product works — including leading AI adoption across the team — and become the company's trusted source of product data and insight.
Role and Responsibilities: The Director owns Product's portion of the software development lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through launch readiness, and partners with Engineering to keep handoffs, capacity, and delivery visible. They run the cadence behind planning and our monthly Product Line Reviews, own the product team's tools and analytics, and make sure product signals flow cleanly between Product and the rest of the business.
What you will own:
• Define and improve Product's part of the SDLC — discovery, PRDs, prioritization, and acceptance — and partner with Engineering on clean handoffs, shared definitions, and visibility into capacity and delivery.
• Lead internal AI adoption across the Product team, rolling out AI-enabled workflows for research, requirements, analysis, and reporting, and measuring the productivity gains.
• Facilitate the Product operating rhythm, including planning cycles, goals, and the data and materials behind monthly Product Line Reviews.
• Partner with Product Marketing on go-to-market readiness — launch plans, release notes, and roadmap communication — so Sales and Customer Success are never surprised.
• Partner with Operations to give the Enablement team the product knowledge, release information, and content the field needs.
• Partner with all customer-facing teams to make sure feedback from customers, support, sales calls, and Deal Desk reaches the right Product leaders and informs prioritization.
• Own product analytics — usage, adoption, retention, and product health — and deliver analysis and reporting on our products for other departments.
• Own the Product tool stack, data hygiene, and playbook, automating manual reporting and keeping PMs across product lines working consistently.
Requirements: • 8+ years in product operations, product management, technical program management, or product-focused consulting in B2B SaaS, including 3+ years at a senior or director level.
• Experience building or rebuilding a product operations function in a growing SaaS business — and examples of what you built.
• Fluency with AI tools and the ability to design, instrument, and improve workflows that use them.
• Strong data skills: defining SaaS product metrics, building dashboards, and turning analysis into recommendations.
• Experience with tools like Jira, Lovable, Anthropic, OpenAI, Gainsight, Salesforce, and Gong.
• Vertical SaaS, PE-backed, or multi-product portfolio experience is a plus.
