Sr Software Engineer - Data and Integration

Accountabilities: • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and enterprise integration solutions.

• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, and integrations connecting internal and external systems.

• Develop data ingestion, transformation, validation, and synchronization processes across multiple data sources.

• Integrate enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, PIM, e-commerce, supply chain, manufacturing, and related platforms.

• Work with structured and unstructured data while maintaining data quality, consistency, and reliability.

• Troubleshoot integration failures, data-flow issues, API errors, and production incidents.

• Develop reusable, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented software components.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, data engineers, and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions.

• Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.

• Monitor data-processing and integration workflows and identify opportunities to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Apply software engineering best practices including version control, CI/CD, automated testing, logging, monitoring, and documentation.

• Analyze complex integration and data-flow challenges and independently drive practical technical solutions.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with significant expertise in data engineering and systems integration.

• Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#/.NET, or a comparable enterprise programming language.

• Proven experience developing and integrating REST APIs, web services, and event-driven architectures.

• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, data transformation, and enterprise data integration.

• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.

• Experience working with JSON, XML, CSV, and other structured and semi-structured data formats.

• Experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with messaging and event technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, Azure Service Bus, or similar platforms.

• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools and a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Strong debugging, testing, production support, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Preferred experience with PIM, ERP, CRM, e-commerce, supply chain, or manufacturing systems.

• Preferred experience integrating platforms such as SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or other enterprise applications.

• Familiarity with Master Data Management and product or customer data.

• Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or Redshift is a plus.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.

• Experience with API management or integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Azure Integration Services is advantageous.

• Experience implementing data-quality, validation, and monitoring frameworks is a plus.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment.

• Strong sense of ownership and ability to independently drive technical deliverables.
