About this role
Accountabilities: • Develop differentiated product positioning and messaging that translates complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling customer value.
• Own the editorial calendar and proactively define the company’s communication priorities, themes, and publishing agenda.
• Develop product launch narratives by defining the problem, target audience, messaging, proof points, and overall story before creating supporting materials.
• Write and edit content across websites, product pages, email campaigns, blogs, social media, scripts, presentations, and sales collateral.
• Partner with executives to turn their expertise and perspectives into compelling posts, videos, panels, interviews, and other external content.
• Conduct customer, Sales, and Customer Success conversations to understand buying motivations, customer language, and market needs.
• Lead video and content strategy, determining what to produce, the appropriate format and presenters, and the strongest narrative hooks.
• Present on camera when appropriate and serve as a visible voice for the company’s products and perspective.
• Build sales enablement materials that communicate product value at different levels, from concise 30-second explanations to detailed enterprise conversations.
• Monitor competitors, market developments, and the broader AI landscape to strengthen and evolve positioning.
• Partner with performance marketing teams and use conversion data to improve messaging and overall marketing effectiveness.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external agencies while maintaining strategic ownership of the product marketing direction.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience in product marketing, communications, storytelling, or related roles within AI, enterprise software, legal technology, or similarly complex product environments.
• Demonstrated experience working in or marketing to the legal industry, with an understanding of how legal professionals evaluate, trust, and purchase products.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and editorial judgment, with the ability to create clear and memorable narratives.
• Proven ability to make sophisticated technology understandable and compelling without oversimplifying the underlying product.
• Strong experience owning product positioning and messaging from strategic development through execution.
• Demonstrated track record planning and executing product launches, including narrative development and definition of proof points.
• Experience directing video and content production, with confidence presenting on camera as a company representative.
• Experience conducting customer research and interviews to uncover authentic customer language, needs, and buying motivations.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and external partners.
• Proficiency with modern AI tools and an ability to use them effectively to improve content quality and production speed.
• Strong strategic judgment, initiative, autonomy, and ability to set priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Backgrounds such as former lawyers who transitioned into marketing, legal or business journalists, or product marketers working with highly technical products are particularly relevant.
• Ability to work remotely with meaningful overlap during Eastern Time hours.
• Willingness to travel periodically as required.

• $180,000–$225,000 USD annual base salary .
