• Contribute to API architecture, development, management, and integration, including GraphQL Federation where applicable.
• Build and support application components using JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
• Work with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure, to develop and support scalable application solutions.
• Implement and maintain cloud-native solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Integrate third-party libraries and APIs to extend application functionality and improve system interoperability.
• Understand user interface technology stacks, requirements, and limitations to support effective collaboration between frontend and backend development.
• Create functional charts and technical documentation to communicate designs, workflows, and requirements clearly.

• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot technical challenges, resolve issues, and continuously improve application performance and reliability.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate combines extensive software development experience with strong API engineering knowledge, cloud technology expertise, and the ability to work independently in a collaborative environment. The key qualifications include:
• More than seven years of relevant experience in software development and leading discovery or high-level design activities for medium- to large-scale projects.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
• Proven expertise in building RESTful microservices and designing, developing, and managing APIs.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs and GraphQL-based microservices; familiarity with GraphQL Federation is preferred.
• Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of cloud-native development practices and tools, including Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience integrating and working with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Understanding of frontend technology stacks, user interface requirements, and technical constraints.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop functional charts and explain technical concepts.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work across several requirements and features simultaneously, and respond effectively to changing needs.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, combined with the independence to identify problems and develop solutions proactively.
• A strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering reliable technical solutions.
Benefits:
• Work arrangement: 100% remote.
• Contract duration: Initial contract of six months or longer.
• Project exposure: Opportunity to contribute to medium- to large-scale software development projects involving modern APIs and cloud-native technologies.
• Technical development: Hands-on work with GraphQL, microservices, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborative environment: Work with cross-functional teams spanning product, project management, business, and user experience.
• Compensation and additional benefits: Salary or hourly rate, healthcare coverage, paid time off, and other benefits were not specified in the provided job description.
