About this role

Accountabilities: • Define and lead a multi-year product vision and strategy for the payments ecosystem, identifying opportunities that support growth, revenue objectives, market expansion, and evolving customer needs.

• Establish strategic direction across multiple product pillars, ensuring initiatives remain aligned with long-term business priorities and measurable outcomes.

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of Product Managers responsible for key product areas, including team structure, hiring plans, leadership development, career progression, and performance expectations.

• Establish strong product management standards, operating processes, and a culture centered on ownership, accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

• Drive the evolution of the payments orchestration platform and capabilities layer, ensuring it supports payment connectivity, orchestration, reconciliation, financial operations, subscriptions, recurring payments, disputes, and chargebacks.

• Ensure product architecture and capabilities can support enterprise-scale merchants, marketplaces, and high transaction volumes while maintaining scalability and reliability.

• Partner closely with Engineering leadership to shape scalable technical architecture and translate complex infrastructure challenges into effective product solutions.

• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships, and other business functions to translate market requirements and customer needs into product strategy and priorities.

• Lead large, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple product areas, remove organizational blockers, and establish alignment across teams.

• Own the overall business performance of the payments product area, defining KPIs and success metrics tied to growth, merchant adoption, platform performance, and customer value.

• Balance customer needs, technical scalability, commercial objectives, and operational considerations when making product decisions.

• Monitor emerging trends across payments and fintech and identify opportunities in payment orchestration, approval optimization, financial automation, and AI-driven payment intelligence.

• Drive product innovation and help position the platform as a scalable solution for enterprise payments infrastructure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of professional experience in Product Management, with significant experience leading multiple product teams or managing Product Managers.

• Strong background in payments, fintech, financial infrastructure, or closely related technology platforms.

• Deep understanding of payment ecosystems, including payment orchestration, PSP and acquirer integrations, payment methods and digital wallets, disputes and chargebacks, and subscription or recurring payments.

• Demonstrated experience building and scaling API-driven platforms and complex technology products.

• Strong track record of partnering with engineering teams on sophisticated systems, platform architecture, and large-scale technical initiatives.

• Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple product and business teams.

• Strong strategic thinking and the ability to establish and communicate long-term product direction.

• Demonstrated leadership and people-management capabilities, including developing product leaders and building effective teams.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and collaboration skills.

• Strong business orientation with the ability to connect product strategy, customer value, growth, and measurable business outcomes.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly innovative startup environment.

• Advanced or native-level English proficiency.

• Experience with emerging technologies or AI-driven solutions in payments or product development is a plus.
