Head of Delivery

Accountabilities • Lead delivery activities across product development initiatives, ensuring priorities, timelines, dependencies, and expected outcomes remain clearly defined.

• Establish and continuously improve delivery processes, frameworks, reporting mechanisms, and operating practices.

• Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate strategic priorities into actionable delivery plans.

• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and drive timely resolution of delivery blockers.

• Create clear visibility into delivery status, capacity, priorities, risks, and key milestones for relevant stakeholders.

• Promote effective collaboration and communication across distributed, cross-functional teams.

• Support teams in adopting predictable, scalable, and outcome-focused delivery practices.

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, planning, and execution across the product development lifecycle.

• Provide leadership, guidance, and accountability while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

• Contribute to broader product and organizational planning by providing delivery insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Significant experience in delivery leadership, product development, technology operations, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience managing complex technology or product delivery across multiple teams or workstreams.

• Strong understanding of software/product development lifecycles, project planning, dependencies, risk management, and delivery governance.

• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and distributed teams in a remote environment.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and changing requirements.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, particularly when addressing delivery risks and operational challenges.

• Experience establishing or improving delivery frameworks, processes, metrics, and reporting structures.

• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, and fostering accountability.

• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced technology environment with ambiguity and evolving business priorities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• A continuous-improvement mindset and a strong focus on delivery quality, predictability, and business outcomes.
