About this role

Accountabilities: • Serve as a customer-facing technical subject matter expert for integrity and assessment products throughout the sales lifecycle.

• Partner strategically with Sales teams to support opportunities, develop deal strategies, refine customer messaging, and advance revenue-generating initiatives.

• Prepare and deliver tailored product overviews, technical demonstrations, workflow discussions, and presentations for prospective and existing education customers.

• Conduct technical discovery with stakeholders, including senior technology leaders, administrators, and academic decision-makers, to understand requirements, workflows, technical constraints, and desired future-state solutions.

• Respond to technical product questions and support Sales teams with customer inquiries throughout the sales process.

• Advise on technical, integration, and product-related aspects of RFP and RFI responses.

• Develop compelling business cases and value-focused presentations that connect product capabilities with customer challenges and business outcomes.

• Manage customer trials, pilots, technical evaluations, and Proofs of Concept, establishing clear evaluation criteria and supporting successful outcomes.

• Support workflow and integration discussions, including the assessment of customer environments and technical requirements.

• Gather and synthesize customer feedback, competitive intelligence, feature requests, and market insights for Product, Marketing, and other internal stakeholders.

• Contribute to product and feature launches and other cross-functional initiatives.

• Mentor colleagues, share best practices, and contribute to the continued development and scalability of the Solutions Engineering organization.

• Promote a collaborative, growth-oriented environment and contribute to continuous improvement across global go-to-market teams.

• Flex working hours as needed to collaborate effectively across global time zones.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Technical Pre-Sales, Technical Consulting, or a comparable customer-facing technical role, ideally within EdTech or Enterprise SaaS.

• Strong consultative selling and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively to executive, academic, business, and technical audiences.

• Demonstrated ability to manage technical evaluations, Proofs of Concept, pilots, and RFP responses within complex sales cycles.

• Strong understanding of customer workflows and the ability to conduct technical discovery, gather requirements, identify constraints, and support customer change management.

• Experience working with complex software integrations and enterprise technology environments.

• Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) standards, and REST APIs is a plus.

• Strong intellectual curiosity and a demonstrated ability to work through complex customer and technical challenges.

• Excellent communication, presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value and customer outcomes.

• Flexible, collaborative, and humble approach, with a focus on customer success and shared business goals.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, low-ego, globally distributed environment.

• Willingness to regularly adjust working hours to support collaboration across global time zones.
