About this role
Accountabilities: • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for transmission and substation projects using Primavera P6.
• Ensure schedules accurately reflect key milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and project objectives.
• Collaborate with project management, engineering, construction, and program leadership to validate schedules and maintain alignment across teams.
• Perform critical path analysis, resource loading, forecasting, and schedule analysis to identify potential risks and optimize project timelines.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and proactively flag potential delays or schedule risks.
• Lead the development of recovery plans and schedule adjustments to help keep projects on track.
• Support change control processes by assessing schedule impacts resulting from scope changes.
• Ensure scheduling activities comply with applicable client-specific standards, reporting requirements, and project controls processes.
• Use Primavera P6 and Unifier to support accurate management of schedules, budgets, and project workflows.
Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience scheduling complex projects within the utility industry.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience using Primavera P6.
• 5+ years of experience with Unifier.
• Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining schedules for large-scale, complex projects.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and project scheduling practices.
• Experience performing critical path analysis, resource loading, forecasting, progress tracking, and schedule risk identification.
• Ability to assess the scheduling implications of scope changes and support effective recovery planning.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, construction teams, and program leadership.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear scheduling information to project stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced project environment.
