About this role
Accountabilities: • Own the overarching technical architecture, data strategy, scalability, and technical design of Salesforce and Certinia environments in alignment with broader enterprise priorities.
• Lead architecture and implementation initiatives for new Certinia modules, including Services Estimator and Financial Management Cloud, as well as other Salesforce platform expansions.
• Design and maintain Salesforce data models, complex automation Flows, and bi-directional integration frameworks using technologies such as asynchronous APIs and webhooks.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical blueprints, solution architectures, data models, and implementation plans in collaboration with stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Provide technical governance, architecture reviews, and oversight for external implementation partners and internal technical teams.
• Establish and enforce architectural standards, security controls, release management practices, and data governance processes.
• Serve as a senior technical escalation point for complex platform issues, performance optimization, system refactoring, and solution integrity.
• Partner with the Director of Business Applications to define the technical roadmap, assess emerging technologies, and guide the architecture and delivery of large-scale enterprise initiatives.
• Evaluate technical tradeoffs and ensure solutions remain scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
• Support cross-functional teams by providing architectural guidance, technical expertise, and clear communication throughout solution design and delivery.
Requirements:
• 5–8+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and architecting solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• Experience architecting native Salesforce applications, ideally including Certinia PSA/ERP or comparable native enterprise solutions.
• Proven track record designing data models, delivering large-scale platform implementations, and supporting system integrations through integration frameworks and middleware.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, security and sharing rules, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), and declarative automation.
• Hands-on experience with native AppExchange applications and integrations, such as DocuSign CLM, SurveyVista, or middleware solutions.
• Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs and architecture documentation.
• Experience guiding external implementation partners and technical teams while enforcing architectural standards and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues and evaluate tradeoffs.
• Excellent written, verbal, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts and decisions to non-technical business leaders.
• Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, or relevant Certinia certifications are preferred.
• Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment to platform health, data governance, security, and solution quality.
