Clinical Research Patient Recruiter

Accountabilities • Make a high volume of outbound calls to prospective clinical research participants.

• Build rapport with potential participants and clearly communicate relevant study opportunities.

• Conduct initial eligibility screenings using established study guidelines and procedures.

• Schedule qualified candidates for research visits and coordinate appointments effectively.

• Follow up consistently with prospective participants to maintain engagement throughout the recruitment process.

• Accurately document outreach activities, screening information, follow-ups, and scheduling details.

• Collaborate with research team members to communicate participant updates and support recruitment objectives.

• Manage multiple conversations, priorities, and recruitment activities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in patient recruitment is required.

• Demonstrated comfort and confidence making outbound calls throughout the workday.

• Strong verbal communication, active listening, interpersonal, and rapport-building skills.

• Positive, persistent, and goal-oriented approach to participant engagement.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating effectively with a broader research team.

• Reliable home workspace and appropriate setup for remote work.

• Ability to travel to Chicago, Illinois, for one week of initial in-person training.

• Interest or experience in clinical research, healthcare, psychology, neuroscience, or behavioral health is a plus.
