About this role
Accountabilities: • Provide high-level email, desk-side, and telephone technical support to 400+ users in the New York office, five global offices, and remote locations.
• Set up, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and other hardware and peripherals.
• Install, support, and maintain software applications including Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, Citrix, and other financial technology platforms.
• Provide technical and analytical guidance related to servers, storage, networking, telephony, and other IT systems.
• Investigate and resolve application issues, technical incidents, and daily job errors in a timely manner.
• Respond directly to user requests and technical queries while delivering a high standard of customer service.
• Participate in a rotating schedule for occasional weekend and on-call support.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in technology support within the financial services industry.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Azure applications and administration.
• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy, Citrix administration and support, Intune, and SCCM.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Ability to remain effective under pressure, prioritize competing requests, and work independently when required.
• Self-motivated, creative, adaptable, and comfortable taking ownership of technical challenges.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with users and technology teams.
• Commitment to inclusive behaviors and to fostering an environment that values diverse perspectives.
• Willingness to comply with the hybrid work policy, currently requiring four days per week in the New York City office and permitting one remote workday.
