About this role
Accountabilities • Lead value discovery: Partner with Account Directors and Solution Engineering teams to identify customer initiatives, strategic priorities, operational challenges, desired outcomes, urgency, success criteria, and initial value hypotheses.
• Deliver business value assessments: Review self-service assessments and lead comprehensive, customer-specific Business Value Assessments (BVAs) when deeper discovery, customer data, multiple value drivers, or executive-level financial justification is needed.
• Build business cases and ROI models: Develop transparent financial models using customer data, relevant benchmarks, and conservative assumptions to quantify expected outcomes, return on investment, and the cost of inaction.
• Validate data and assumptions: Establish baseline metrics, assess data readiness, identify information gaps, document risks and assumptions, and collaborate with operational, executive, and financial stakeholders to validate findings.
• Communicate value to executives: Facilitate customer workshops and present value hypotheses, financial analyses, findings, and recommendations to executive, financial, operational, and technical audiences.
• Develop customer-accepted Value Plans: Document validated priorities, baseline metrics, target outcomes, executive sponsors, data owners, assumptions, risks, and agreed measures of success.
• Align proofs of value with business outcomes: Ensure demonstrations and proof-of-value initiatives are designed to validate the business results identified during the assessment process.
• Coordinate presales-to-post-sales transitions: Prepare accepted business assessments and Value Plans for formal handoff to Solution Consultants, Customer Success, Professional Services, Technical Account Managers (TAMs), and other post-sales stakeholders.
• Enable sales teams: Help Sales and Solution Engineering apply value frameworks and self-service assessments consistently, strengthening discovery, value positioning, and the responsible use of assumptions.
• Improve value-engineering methodology: Maintain tools, templates, benchmarks, and quality standards while incorporating lessons from Business Value Reviews into future assessments and processes.

• Demonstrated experience leading executive discovery and developing credible business cases, financial models, ROI analyses, and outcome-based recommendations.
• Strong analytical skills, including experience evaluating operational and service-management data, establishing performance baselines, identifying value drivers, and validating assumptions.
• Ability to translate complex technical capabilities and data into clear business outcomes for executive, financial, operational, and technical audiences.
• Excellent workshop facilitation, executive presentation, written communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple strategic customer engagements, challenge unsupported assumptions constructively, and collaborate effectively across Sales, Solution Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, TAM, Product, and Finance.
• Experience with SaaS, cloud platforms, digital employee experience, IT operations, service management, automation, or enterprise software.
• Familiarity with value-selling methodologies, CRM systems, and business-value platforms such as ValueCore.
