• Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and reusable semantic models that support business intelligence and data-driven decision-making.

• Data Modeling and Architecture: Build scalable data models using dimensional modeling principles, including star schemas, fact and dimension tables, data relationships, and semantic models.

• DAX Development and Optimization: Create advanced DAX measures, calculations, and time-intelligence logic. Optimize filter context, calculations, and model performance to deliver efficient reporting experiences.

• Data Transformation and Integration: Develop and maintain data transformation workflows using Power Query and M, supporting reliable data preparation, integration, and refresh processes.

• Microsoft Fabric Implementation: Work with Microsoft Fabric capabilities, including OneLake, Lakehouse and Warehouse environments, Dataflows, pipelines, and semantic models, to support the migration and modernization of BI solutions.

• Performance Optimization: Improve report responsiveness, semantic model efficiency, DAX execution, and data refresh performance across Power BI solutions.

• Data Security and Governance: Configure data relationships, access controls, and Row-Level Security (RLS) to ensure appropriate and secure access to reporting data.

• Data Validation and Quality Assurance: Compare migrated reports and calculations against existing Domo solutions, investigate discrepancies, and verify data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

• Troubleshooting and Continuous Improvement: Diagnose and resolve issues involving data quality, calculations, models, refresh operations, and reporting. Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve existing BI solutions.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Business Intelligence colleagues and relevant stakeholders to understand existing business logic, clarify requirements, and deliver effective migration outcomes.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: Approximately 2–3 years of relevant experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related technical field.

• Power BI Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service, including dashboard development, reporting, semantic modeling, and performance optimization.

• Microsoft Fabric Knowledge: A good understanding of Microsoft Fabric and its core capabilities, including data engineering, storage, transformation, pipelines, and semantic models.

• DAX Proficiency: Strong knowledge of DAX, including measures, filter context, time intelligence, calculation logic, and performance optimization techniques.

• SQL and Power Query: Strong SQL skills and practical experience with Power Query and the M language for data extraction, transformation, preparation, and validation.

• Data Modeling: Solid understanding of dimensional modeling, star-schema design, fact and dimension tables, relationships, and reusable semantic models.

• Data Engineering Fundamentals: Understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data integration, refresh scheduling, data quality checks, and validation methodologies.

• Analytical and Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to investigate complex data and reporting issues, identify root causes, validate results, and implement effective solutions.

• Business Logic Translation: Ability to understand existing reporting systems and translate established calculations, requirements, and business rules into accurate and efficient Power BI solutions.
