Business Data Analyst 1

Accountabilities •

Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand business needs, identify analytical requirements, and translate expectations into actionable technical specifications.

•

Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, communicating requirements and ensuring that delivered solutions align with client expectations.

•

Create queries and apply data mining techniques to extract, organize, and analyze relevant information.

•

Develop reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs to address client needs and support business decision-making.

•

Document business requirements, user stories, processes, and procedures related to reporting and data analysis.

•

Support testing activities to validate that developed solutions meet functional requirements and expected outcomes.

•

Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization and operational improvement.

•

Evaluate client requests, determine their scope and applicability, and communicate analytical findings and recommendations to business users.

•

Manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating effectively with clients, developers, and management teams.

Requirements

•

Bachelor's degree preferred, or at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.

•

2–4 years of experience in data analysis, business analysis, or a related field.

•

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables and functions such as VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and other data analysis formulas.

•

Experience using Power BI for data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence.

•

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and their use in professional environments.

•

Familiarity with IT fundamentals, including logical thinking, flowcharting, basic coding concepts, and technical processes.

•

Ability to gather, interpret, and translate business requirements into clear technical documentation.

•

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.

•

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

•

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments in a remote, project-driven environment.

•

A proactive and adaptable approach to managing client expectations, resolving issues, and meeting project deadlines.
