• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using PL/SQL, SQL, and scripting languages such as Python and Java to support data transformations, validations, automation, and integration workflows.

• Build and maintain interfaces using Oracle HCM Extracts, HCM Data Loader (HDL), Fast Formulas, BI Publisher, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or comparable middleware solutions.

• Implement and manage REST and SOAP APIs, SFTP and file-based transfers, and secure connectivity mechanisms, including OAuth authentication and certificate-based security.

• Optimize SQL queries, integration jobs, and batch processing workflows to support high-volume HCM data operations and improve system performance.

• Apply security and compliance best practices to protect personally identifiable information (PII), support SOX controls, and maintain audit readiness across integration processes.

• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and error-handling mechanisms to identify integration failures, resolve technical issues, and maintain reliable system operations.

• Develop and maintain technical specifications, interface mappings, data dictionaries, operational runbooks, and other documentation required for ongoing support and maintenance.

• Maintain version control, support CI/CD pipelines, and implement automated testing practices to improve development quality and deployment reliability.

• Collaborate with HRIS, Payroll, IT, and other cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver integration solutions aligned with business needs.

• Participate in technical design reviews, recommend architectural improvements, and identify opportunities to enhance integration scalability, security, and maintainability.

• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote coding standards and technical best practices across the development team.

• Provide ongoing integration support and participate in occasional client-site visits when required.

Requirements:

• At least 7 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle HCM integrations in enterprise environments.

• Strong functional and technical knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud modules, particularly Core HR, Benefits, Absence, and Time and Labor, including their underlying data structures and dependencies.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL, including query optimization, data manipulation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Extracts, HCM Data Loader (HDL), Fast Formulas, and BI Publisher.

• Proven experience developing integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or comparable middleware platforms.

• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs, secure file transfers, SFTP, authentication protocols, and enterprise integration patterns.

• Experience using Python, Java, or similar scripting and programming languages for data transformation, validation, and automation.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, automated testing frameworks, and secure secrets management.

• Understanding of enterprise data security, personally identifiable information (PII) protection, SOX controls, and audit requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues, analyze data discrepancies, and implement effective, long-term solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality code.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and contribute effectively within a remote, geographically distributed team.

• Experience mentoring developers, participating in code reviews, and contributing to technical design discussions is an advantage.

• Willingness to participate in occasional client-site visits as required.
