About this role

Accountabilities: • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Claims Account Managers to achieve or exceed revenue, retention, and growth objectives.

• Establish clear sales priorities, performance expectations, development goals, and accountability across the team.

• Drive execution of strategic account plans designed to expand relationships within Commercial Property & Casualty insurance carrier claims organizations.

• Manage sales forecasting, pipeline health, territory planning, performance metrics, and overall team execution.

• Support customer meetings, sales opportunities, contract negotiations, and executive-level relationship management.

• Maintain direct ownership of assigned customer accounts during vacancies, onboarding periods, territory realignments, or other business needs.

• Partner with account managers to identify expansion opportunities, increase solution adoption, and strengthen market penetration.

• Build and maintain relationships with claims executives, claims operations leaders, innovation teams, Special Investigative Unit (SIU) leaders, and other key stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Product, Implementation, Sales Support, and Product Solution Specialist teams to support successful customer outcomes.

• Create and execute talent development and succession plans while providing ongoing coaching and feedback.

• Monitor industry trends, customer needs, competitive offerings, and changes across the commercial claims landscape.

• Balance team leadership responsibilities with direct customer engagement and strategic sales execution.

Requirements:

• Proven sales experience with a demonstrated record of generating revenue growth and managing strategic customer relationships.

• Commercial Property & Casualty insurance industry experience is required.

• Previous people-management experience, including coaching, developing, and managing sales professionals, is required.

• Strong understanding of commercial insurance claims processes, workflows, and operational challenges.

• Experience selling data, analytics, SaaS, workflow, or technology solutions is preferred.

• Direct experience working within claims operations is a plus.

• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships with insurance carrier executives and senior stakeholders.

• Strong project management, communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.

• Ability to translate customer challenges into relevant business and technology solutions.

• Strong strategic thinking and account planning capabilities, combined with a hands-on approach to sales leadership.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across product, implementation, sales, and customer-facing teams.

• Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as business needs require.
