About this role

Accountabilities: • Define and evolve the multi-year product strategy and translate it into a prioritized roadmap connected to measurable outcomes such as retention, expansion revenue, time-to-value, competitive win rate, and margin.

• Partner with Finance and Sales on packaging and pricing strategy, including monetization of AI capabilities and management of AI compute and data-processing costs.

• Present product strategy, roadmap progress, competitive positioning, and key product decisions to executive leadership, board members, and investors.

• Own detection and finding quality as core product metrics, balancing accuracy, coverage, false positives, and signal-to-noise.

• Partner with security research and threat intelligence teams to transform emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques into product capabilities.

• Define product requirements for secure-by-design development, customer data protection, tenant isolation, and enterprise security certifications.

• Establish deployment strategies across SaaS, on-premises, and air-gapped environments while balancing customer needs with engineering and operational complexity.

• Set the direction for AI and automation, including human-in-the-loop decisions, explainability, auditability, data residency, customer-data training policies, and protection against prompt injection and model misuse.

• Lead integration strategy across SIEM, SOAR, ticketing, CI/CD, cloud platforms, channel partners, MSSPs, systems integrators, and cloud marketplaces.

• Translate regulatory and security frameworks into product capabilities that support customer compliance and audit requirements.

• Lead continuous product discovery with CISOs, security practitioners, engineering leaders, and compliance stakeholders.

• Own competitive intelligence, win/loss analysis, and product positioning, while partnering with Marketing on analyst relations.

• Support strategic sales opportunities, competitive proofs of value, product launches, positioning, and enablement.

• Hire, develop, and lead the product organization while establishing effective planning, prioritization, release review, and product performance processes.

• Create a strong operating cadence that aligns Product, Engineering, Research, and go-to-market teams around shared priorities and outcomes.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of product management experience, including 4+ years leading product teams within a B2B SaaS environment serving enterprise customers.

• Direct experience owning cybersecurity products or products in a similarly technical domain where the primary buyers are engineers or security practitioners.

• Demonstrated success launching platform capabilities and new product packages that improved retention, expansion, deal size, or other measurable commercial outcomes.

• Strong technical depth and the ability to engage effectively with engineering and research teams on complex product and architecture trade-offs.

• Executive communication skills, with the ability to articulate product strategy to board members, investors, senior executives, and enterprise security leaders.

• Hands-on experience bringing AI or machine learning capabilities into production, including associated governance and risk considerations.

• Experience managing products where accuracy, trust, security, and defensibility are fundamental to the customer value proposition.

• Proven ability to build, retain, and develop strong product teams during a growth-stage transition.

• Experience selling products into regulated industries such as healthcare, critical infrastructure, financial services, manufacturing, or government is preferred.

• Working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and FedRAMP is a plus.

• Experience with on-premises or air-gapped deployment models is preferred.

• Experience building integration ecosystems, partner programs, or channel strategies is advantageous.

• Experience with security analyst relations, category positioning, M&A evaluation, post-acquisition product integration, usage-based or hybrid pricing models, or scaling from Series B/C into a later growth stage is a plus.
