About this role

Accountabilities: • Achieve assigned regional sales, volume, revenue, and collection targets while contributing to market-share growth.

• Manage, develop, and expand distributor and dealer networks across the Eastern India region.

• Identify and win new OEM bodyshop accounts and develop additional business opportunities within the territory.

• Maintain strong relationships with OEMs, bodyshops, distributors, dealers, and other strategic customers.

• Oversee customer and bodyshop service requirements, ensuring timely resolution and strong commercial relationships.

• Lead regional sales and technical teams, providing direction, support, and performance management.

• Develop sales plans, forecasts, and business strategies aligned with regional and organizational objectives.

• Drive successful launches and adoption of new products within the region.

• Monitor and manage key commercial indicators, including IDS and DSO, while maintaining healthy business performance.

• Take ownership of overall regional business development and proactively identify new markets, accounts, and growth opportunities.

• Work with product teams to communicate market and customer requirements and support relevant product development initiatives.

• Coordinate with demand planning, finance, customer service, and other functions to ensure effective execution of sales and business priorities.

• Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer developments, using market intelligence to inform commercial decisions.

Requirements

• 12–15+ years of professional sales experience, preferably within the paints, automotive aftermarket, automotive refinish, or a closely related industry.

• MBA or a degree in Paint Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.

• Demonstrated experience managing regional sales operations, distributor and dealer networks, and strategic customer relationships.

• Experience developing new business and winning accounts, particularly within OEM or automotive bodyshop environments.

• Proven ability to lead and develop sales and technical teams while managing multiple priorities across a region.

• Strong commercial, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

• Strong relationship-building capabilities and experience managing critical business partners toward mutually beneficial outcomes.

• Analytical and data-driven approach to decision-making, with strong attention to accuracy and detail.

• Proactive, self-driven mindset with the confidence to take on challenges and identify new ways of working.

• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional and matrixed organizations.

• Strong ownership of targets, forecasts, collections, customer development, and regional business performance.

• Willingness to work in a dynamic commercial environment and adapt priorities as market and business requirements evolve.
