About this role
Accountabilities: • Manage strategic OEM business relationships and ensure program service delivery aligns with agreed statements of work, client expectations, and business objectives.
• Lead quarterly business reviews, weekly program meetings, and other client-facing engagements with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Partner on financial modeling, forecasting, project projections, and monthly or annual financial deliverables.
• Coordinate the presentation, communication, and approval of program invoices and act as an escalation point for issues involving enrollment, data, reporting, billing, products, systems, legal matters, and contracts.
• Support negotiations around project resources, deliverables, costs, and program requirements.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing OEM relationships and facilitate executive-level discussions around potential growth initiatives.
• Coordinate with finance, enrollment, service, sales, product, technology, and operational teams to ensure effective program delivery.
• Manage contract renewals and support the development of field sales resources and OEM program documentation.
• Partner with product and technology teams on feature development, prioritization, defect resolution, and ongoing product improvements.
• Lead the development, approval, and execution of statements of work and change requests.
• Ensure contractual and technical obligations are understood and fulfilled throughout the program lifecycle.
• Coordinate training, implementation, product launches, pilots, pricing initiatives, dealer adoption, communications, and ongoing support.
• Develop and maintain program dashboards that provide clear visibility into performance, progress, risks, and key business outcomes.
• Continuously identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve program performance, and reduce operational complexity.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in software project management, program management, engagement management, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience managing external client relationships, with demonstrated ability to manage requirements, expectations, deliverables, and escalations.
• Expert knowledge of automotive retail solutions, dealership operations, and related workflows.
• Experience navigating complex business environments and resolving sophisticated customer requirements and operational challenges.
• Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Excellent analytical and financial modeling abilities, including the capacity to evaluate scenarios and manage program financials.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive successful outcomes for complex client programs.
• Ability to anticipate changing conditions, identify risks and opportunities, and adapt program plans accordingly.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
• Experience working with automotive manufacturer dealer programs is preferred.
• Familiarity with automotive dealership software applications is an advantage.
• PMP or another relevant industry certification is considered a plus.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and develop account growth opportunities.
• Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed, collaborative environment while maintaining ownership of strategic programs.
