About this role
Accountabilities: • Paid Acquisition: Build, launch, manage, and optimize acquisition campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta, Google, retargeting, and emerging channels, personally managing meaningful media spend and making decisions based on pipeline quality, acquisition economics, and revenue.
• Creative Growth System: Develop a high-velocity testing engine across short-form video, UGC, founder-led creative, static ads, customer proof, use-case creative, case studies, and landing-page concepts.
• Conversion Funnel: Own and continuously improve the journey from advertising through landing pages, demos, trials, and activation, including creating and shipping landing pages and partnering with Product and Design to remove conversion friction.
• Measurement & Attribution: Own campaign tracking, UTMs, pixels, events, conversion APIs, CRM campaign logic, attribution models, dashboards, and funnel reporting to establish a reliable view of spend, pipeline, and revenue performance.
• Experimentation: Design and execute continuous A/B and multivariate tests across messaging, creative, audiences, offers, landing pages, CTAs, forms, demo flows, and channel mix, maintaining a structured experimentation backlog.
• Audience Development: Identify high-performing ICP signals, personas, use cases, pain points, messages, offers, and targeting strategies, turning insights into reusable audience and messaging playbooks.
• Product-Led Growth: Partner with Product and Revenue teams on activation, self-service conversion, trial-to-paid pathways, in-product prompts, lifecycle initiatives, and other emerging growth loops.
• Marketing Automation: Use AI, no-code and low-code tools, enrichment, workflow automation, and light scripting to increase testing velocity and reduce repetitive work.
• Cross-Functional Growth: Collaborate closely with founders, Product, Design, Sales, and Revenue Operations to connect performance marketing activities with broader commercial and product objectives.
• Growth Reporting: Track qualified pipeline, CAC and CAC payback, cost per qualified lead, sourced and influenced ARR, conversion rates, LTV/CAC, pipeline velocity, and experiment win rates.
Requirements
• Performance Marketing Experience: 4–8+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing, growth marketing, or demand generation, ideally within B2B SaaS, AI, HR technology, recruiting technology, or another high-growth technology category.
• Paid Media Management: Proven experience personally managing and scaling approximately $50K–$250K+ per month in paid media across LinkedIn, Meta, Google, or comparable channels.
• Revenue Attribution: Demonstrated ability to connect channel spend to downstream funnel performance, opportunity creation, qualified pipeline, and ARR.
• Platform Expertise: Deep hands-on experience building campaigns, audiences, conversion tracking, creative tests, budgets, bids, and optimization strategies directly within advertising platforms.
• Funnel Economics: Strong understanding of CPL, CAC, LTV, CAC payback, conversion rates, pipeline velocity, and marginal acquisition efficiency.
• CRO Experience: Experience building and improving landing pages, forms, demo flows, or trial experiences with a strong conversion-rate optimization mindset.
• Creative Judgment: Strong creative instincts and copy judgment, with the ability to understand why specific messages, concepts, or creative approaches perform rather than simply reporting metric changes.
• Creative Testing: Experience testing video, UGC, creator-led, founder-led, or short-form paid creative.
• Analytics & Attribution: Comfort working with analytics, dashboards, CRM data, experimentation frameworks, attribution systems, and imperfect early-stage datasets.
• Execution Speed: Ability to move quickly from hypothesis to launch, data collection, insight, and the next experiment.
• Communication: Strong written communication skills and the ability to translate customer pain points into clear, high-converting messaging.
• Builder Mindset: High ownership, low ego, strong judgment, resourcefulness, and a preference for creating repeatable growth systems rather than waiting for established playbooks.
• Preferred Experience: Experience with HubSpot or Salesforce, Webflow or Framer, GA4, Segment, Mixpanel or Amplitude, Clay, Zapier or Make, modern attribution tools, lightweight automations, dashboards, AI-assisted workflows, or product-led growth initiatives is a strong advantage.
Benefits
• Remote Work: Fully remote position based in the United States.
• Founding-Level Ownership: Opportunity to build the performance marketing engine, systems, experiments, and operating cadence from the ground up.
• Founder Access: Direct collaboration with company founders and close partnership with Product, Design, Sales, and Revenue Operations.
• Growth Opportunity: The role is designed to expand toward broader Head of Growth leadership as the organization scales and results develop.
• Compensation & Long-Term Growth: Compensation is designed to align with measurable growth and long-term value creation, with specific base compensation, performance incentives, equity or long-term participation, and benefits discussed with qualified candidates based on experience, location, and employment structure.
• AI-Native Environment: Opportunity to use AI across research, creative production, analysis, automation, personalization, and experimentation.
• High Autonomy: Significant freedom to test, learn, scale successful initiatives, and build systems with measurable accountability.
