About this role
Accountabilities • Develop and execute internal and external communication strategies aligned with organizational priorities, culture, and growth.
• Own companywide communications, including leadership updates, announcements, newsletters, and organizational initiatives.
• Translate complex business topics into clear, actionable messaging while maintaining consistent communication standards and tone.
• Draft executive communications such as leadership announcements, speeches, presentations, talking points, business updates, video scripts, and town-hall materials.
• Partner with senior leaders on communications surrounding strategic initiatives, organizational changes, milestones, and major announcements.
• Use storytelling to strengthen employee engagement and culture by highlighting people, teams, projects, milestones, and achievements.
• Develop communication plans for organizational changes, new programs, policies, processes, and other business initiatives.
• Anticipate communication needs and help leaders provide timely, accurate, and transparent information.
• Manage corporate social media and external content, showcasing people, projects, capabilities, culture, recruiting initiatives, and organizational growth.
• Maintain a consistent, professional, and authentic external brand presence while using engagement metrics to improve content strategy.
• Partner with HR, Recruiting, Operations, Corporate Development, and leadership teams on communication priorities.
• Manage internal communication platforms, including intranet, Teams, SharePoint, and newsletters, while developing scalable calendars, templates, and communication standards.
• Measure communication effectiveness through engagement data and employee feedback and recommend improvements.
• Travel to project sites as needed to connect with employees, gather stories, and strengthen communication between corporate and field teams.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Human Resources, English, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4–7 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, employee communications, organizational communications, or public relations.
• Exceptional written, verbal, editing, proofreading, and presentation skills, including the ability to create executive-level communications.
• Demonstrated experience communicating organizational change and helping employees understand new initiatives, processes, policies, or priorities.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality across multiple communication channels.
• Experience partnering with executive leadership on presentations, town halls, speeches, video scripts, or strategic messaging is preferred.
• Experience in engineering, construction, technology, consulting, or professional services environments is a plus.
• Knowledge of employee engagement and organizational culture strategies is preferred.
• Familiarity with intranets, content management systems, and visual content tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is beneficial.
• Experience measuring communication effectiveness through analytics and employee feedback is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and audiences across a global organization.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or other eligible worker.
• Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening is required.
